Saturday Plans

There's some lunatic fringe out there that wants to impeach President Bush; among the "crimes" that he is accused of: "threatening the use of nuclear weapons and ordering preparation for their use." Uh...how, exactly, can that be considered a crime?

In lighter news, my plans for Saturday include: taking a loaf of bread down to the river and feeding the geese (and a few ducks), which I have meant to do since I moved here in July. You wouldn't believe how many geese there are here...and boy, are they cute. And they honk! Then, I'm going to stop by the Civic Center around 11:00 am -- apparently some "Not In Our Name" and Quaker/pacifist types are going to be holding an anti-war rally...if true, I'll try to get some pix to post for everyone to check out. Then I'm having new tires put on my newly-paid off car, and then off to the ice-skating rink for my daughter's school party. Sounds like a fun day, eh?

And don't forget: Sunday is Groundhog Day -- Go Groundhog!
