Chow Time

The Beautiful Wife sacked out early after a long day at work. Which means that it was up to me to make dinner for me and Sassy. Hmmm...no thawed-out meat or pork chops...don't feel like making spaghetti...and we're McD'd out for the week. What to do, what to do...

You know what to do. The La-Z-Dad Dinner Special! Frozen chicken nuggets and french fries! Any other La-Z-Dad specials you'd like to share?

Dave -- I just emailed you a print-screen. I just wanted to share with you how excited I am at this very moment. The Sci-Fi channel is showing the mini-series "Battlestar Galactica." How ironic is that? Just today I was talking about Sunday evenings, when I was knee-high to a grasshopper, I'd watch the old Battlestar Galactica. I'm giddy with excitement!!!!

Pisketti:

1 Can Mushroom Soup
1 Can Tomato Soup
1 - 2 lb. Ground Beef

Brown Ground Beef, mix in both soup mixes, along with 1/2 - 1 soup can full of water. (Start with 1/2 and add to thicken as necessary.)

Sprinkle in salt, pepper, garlic salt, italian seasoning to taste.

Oh, yeah, and boil some water to cooke the spaghetti while you're at it. Then you have something to pour the sauce on.

Enjoy!

Well, let's see. Every bachelor, no matter how inept at cooking, knows how to make Girlfriend Chicken. Can't you just double the recipe for that? :-)

How about a La-Z-Mom recipe? When all else fails, make hot dogs. LOL

Canned tomato soup and grilled cheese sandwiches. Scrambled eggs and hash-browns (frozen).
LAZEE Burritos = canned refried beans and grated cheddar on a tortilla. Microwave for 32 seconds. Let individual consumer add lettuce/salsa/sour cream if they want.

Corn dogs and frozen corn. Boys call it "corn night" and love it. Also good is Breakfast for Dinner. Eggs, toast, fried meat product if it's not too much trouble. 15 minutes and nary a complaint about what you made. Can be easier with toaster pancakes (Schwan's are the best, but most kids aren't too picky).

And yeah, I'm a lazeeeee mom on occasion.
