April 25, 2004CluelessI promised you a post about p0rnography, and here it is. I am clueless about this junk. I mean that I truly don't have any clue as to the appeal of it. I saw a few minutes of a cheap porn flick at a supposed bachelor party circa 1985...didn't get it. The other guys in the room were hooting and hollering. I left after 10 minutes. Simply, boobies. In a puritanical country like ours, the very idea of seeing exposed flesh is akin to doing something that you aren't supposed to. Like when your mom says "don't jump in the bed", and you think "there must be somehting super awesome about jumping in the bed or mom wouldn't say I shouldn't". Of course, the funny part is that the vaaaaaast majority of Americans are buying/viewing porn. It is the establishment/status quo.
