May 20, 2003A Moment In The SunHooray! One of the questions on "Jeopardy!" tonight was Great Falls! The answer was something along the lines of what did Lewis & Clark see along the Missouri in Montana that were the "greatest" that they had ever seen? And speaking of the best quiz show ever...am I the only one who gets ticked off when the audience applauds when a contestant picks the Daily Double? I mean, the contestant hasn't answered yet, and has given no indication of what his/her wager will be...so what the heck is the audience clapping about? Unrelated, and reposted from last month, because it's so darn funny: Ever have the urge to make an origami cat? Here you go. (don't worry - it's completely harmless, safe for work, and whimsical) Posted at May 20, 2003 06:15 PMCOMMENTS!
The applause gives the contestant a few seconds to breathe. Trust me, they need it! At any rate, the contestant says, "What is huh-LEE-nuh?" Trebek gave him the points against my bitter protests. Damn you, Trebek. Posted by: mtpolitics at May 22, 2003 11:47 AMPost a comment
