U.S. Army-Baylor
University
Graduate
Program in Health Care Administration
The
U.S. Army-Baylor University graduate program in healthcare administration is
offered to medical officers of the Army, Navy, and Air Force, as well as
civilian employees of the Veterans Administration (and a Coast Guard member every now
& then!). The program is two years in length and consists of two
distinct phases: a one-year didactic (classroom) phase worth 60 credit
hours, and a year-long residency phase conducted at one of many military medical
centers, civilian hospitals, or other such healthcare organization.
Details about curriculum, admissions, etc, will be posted on this page very
soon. Our class is very diverse: 19 Army, 8 Navy, 7 Air Force, and 2
VA members. Most are Medical Service Corps (MSC) officers, but we also
have about six nurses, one physician, one dentist, one podiatrist, and one
pharmacist.
