In The Jungle

Saw a commercial on Animal Planet the other day — this looks like an incredible show:

MUTUAL OF OMAHA’S WILD KINGDOM begins its third season Sunday, March 6 with HEART OF A LIONESS, a fascinating look at a modern day miracle in northern Kenya when a lioness adopts a baby oryx antelope. Astonishing the scientific world, the lioness mothers the calf with infinite tenderness as both a caregiver and fierce protector; forgoing her most basic needs to hunt.

I love inter-species friendship…makes me all weepy.
