Dave, I just got back from New York City (seriously). I arrived in NY on Thursday at about 3:15 pm. my wife and I checked into our hotel and we walked up to the Madison Square Garden area. We walked into the Gap so she could look at Gap maternity clothes. This would be the first building we walked into besides our hotel. As soon as we headed for the escalators... BAM the lights went out. believe it or not though the people were peaceful and I also met Jay Z the rapper standing outside my hotel. We were supposed to be there until Monday morning but after spending last night in the dark, on the 10h floor (with a pregnant woman) walking up and down blackened stair cases and with no water or plumbing we called it quits on Friday at 3pm. We jumped in our car and headed back to Boston. Sure enough the lights finally came bck on. Man I had tickets to "RENT" I can always say though, I was there!!!!

First they gotta tell us the reason the blackout happened. All the guvmint is saying now is it wasn't terrorism, but they won't tell us how they can rule it out. To paraphrase Shakespeare "Methinks the guvmint doth protest too much."
