Talk about wasted opportunity. In the wake of Abu Ghraib, the Libertarians could, if they did it right, shake up a significant portion of the electorate and say, "And *this* is what happens in U.S. prisons as well, where [X] percent of our own population is incarcerated." (I remember X being some rather ridiculously high number, no? Significantly greater than 1% at any rate.)
