Well this looks quite interesting. I surfed around the Heifer International site for awhile and wonder why no mention is ever made of the bull. For the heifer to give milk and have a calf a bull has to be involved.
I see that you can donate a heifer for $500. With the market the way it is now, I wish I could buy heifers that cheap. If I recall correctly, they are on the higher end of percentage of money going to fund the actual programs versus administration costs. That is a good thing!
